Processing Times
REGULAR processing -- please allow 4-6 weeks to receive
passport(s) and original documents.
EXPEDITED processing -- please allow 2-3 weeks to receive
passport(s) and original documents.
Regular Fees
New Passport Books:
ADULTS (16 years and older) $135.00 each
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $110 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.
CHILDREN (15 years and under) $105.00 each
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $80 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.
For CHILDREN -- at this location both parents (with ID) and children must be present. Both parents must sign application form for children under 16 OR one parent and notarized statement of consent from the other parent (Form DS-3053). If child had prior passport, both the prior
passport and birth certificate must be presented.
New Passport Cards:
The passport card is a wallet-size card that can only be used for land and sea travel between the United States and Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.
ADULTS (16 years and older) $55.00
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $30 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.
CHILDREN (15 and under) $40.00
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $15 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.
Expedited Fee
Delivery from US Department of State within 3 weeks of submitting application.
New Passport Book
ADULTS: (16 years and older) $195.00
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $170 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.
CHILDREN:(15 years and under) $165.00
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $140 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.

OVERNIGHT DELIVERY RETURN FEE: $14.96 additional fee payable to the US Department of State (Passport Book only)

Passport Book or Card Renewals (by mail only to Passport Office)
The City provides Renewal Forms (DS-82) only but does not accept renewal
applications. ALL processing for renewals must be done by the individual applicant.
Instructions for renewal are provided on the back of the renewal form.
What You Need to Bring to City Hall

by authorized City staff.
- TWO identical passport photos (2" x 2")
- Picture ID in the form of a valid Driver's License or current school, work, or military ID
- And ONE of the following:
Certified Birth Certificate issued by a State (NO footprint birth certificates)
Consular Report of Birth Abroad
Certificate of Citizenship
Naturalization or Citizenship Certificate
Previous US Passport

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long is a Passport valid?
A: Ten years for adults and five years for children 15 years and under.
Q: My Passport is over 10 years old but less than 15 years old. Can it be renewed?
A: Yes, just as if it was still valid.
Q: My Passport is more than 15 years old. Can I renew it?
A: No, renewal is not possible. You'll need to apply for a new Passport.
