Clerk Treasurer's Office

The Clerk-Treasurer records the proceedings and generates the official minutes of City Council meetings, maintains records, and provides for inspection and copying of public records subject to disclosure. The Clerk-Treasurer attests to official acts of the Mayor, keeps the Council advised of the financial condition of the city, assists in the preparation of a proposed budget for the fiscal year, and is responsible for administering the budget once it is adopted. The office is responsible for maintaining payroll records, issuing business licenses and permits, managing the utility billing system and staffing the front desk reception area.
